Born and bred in South Korea, Lara is currently living in southern England, where she enjoys freelancing as well as observing the ever-changing colours of the sea.  She has worked on various worldwide projects with clients and agencies including The New York Times, Apple TV, Netflix, Headspace, & Channel 4. Her work has also been recognised by international awards, festivals, art events and online platforms, such as ADAA, Art Directors Club, Pictoplasma, Grafixx, LIAF, Typojanchi, Annecy Festival, Vimeo Staffpicks & It’s Nice That, among others.
